WITH ALL, LOVE HIM!

Image
Praise God! Deutronomy 6: 4-5  Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord].  And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might. Matthew 22: 36-37 Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light - which are heavy?]. And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This words are so familiar to us but often times than not we are quick to say the words, sometimes merely reading them without meaning any of it.  At times, we really want to do what the Scripture says, but when we are given the cost, we aren't willing to pay it and like the rich young ruler, we walk away sad because the cost is ALL OF US! What intrigues me the most is the fact that Jesus didn't chase after the young ruler, He let him go!  The truth is, in not loving t...

IDOLATRY IS INFIDELITY!

Image
Hello and Praise God! Read through๐Ÿ˜Š In the beginning of this year, one of the things God impressed on my heart is that this year, the spiritual state of those who are called by Him will be tried by fire, I though noticed that so many of us, children of God will choose to not be tried by fire and live with no desire to be confronted by God in any way. Idolatry is one of the things God is beginning to confront in the hearts of His children and in this process, there is going to be a major distinction of who are of God and not and I pray that we will not be those who run away but be those who take in the confrontation of God, which He does with so much love and turn from our ways, and fully follow Him and please Him with every day that we live, because, we were saved to the praise and glory of His name. Amen! When the Lord delivered the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh, the first thing He wanted to do is enter into a covenant with them and give them the commands they were suppose...

BEGUN WITH HIM? CONTINUE WITH AND IN HIM!

Before the year begun, I had a vision as I was awake at the time, in the vision, I could see Christians being called to congregate in a large field. God stood in this field and each one of those who called themselves Christians had an altar of some sort and we all stood before our altars. God spoke so clearly and said that to those who wanted to truly follow Him, should set themselves on the altar to be set on fire. To my surprise, a good number left. From the number that remained, God asked that we lay our lives down, as you can already guess, some did and some did not they instead opted out. The rest had laid their lives down, but then another instruction came and all the altars with men on it were set on fire, some jerked out almost immediately, others left when the heat begun to touch their bodies, the fire was being increased and at the end, a small amount of people were left, these ones literally lost their lives to the fire, I saw ashes on the altar, but then I saw men who looke...

OH BEHOLD HIM!

Praise God! God is good, all the time, and all the time, He is good! I was having my quiet time, two days ago to be precise and I felt the urge to be quiet and be still in the presence of God. As though my spirit was speaking, I wrote in my journal first, that I pray, not just because of what I get to receive as a result of prayer, but because of the person I am becoming in prayer.  Wade through! 2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from one degree of glory to even more glory , which comes from the Lord who is Spirit. Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.  Colossians 3:10 ... and have put on the new man, that is be...

BEHIND THE VEIL

Image
Praise God, Happy New Year! By reason that you are reading this post means that you are alive and we thank God for life. Another opportunity to live for Him! Isn't that amazing? Thank you Jesus๐Ÿ™Œ I love walking (the tiredness I don't love though๐Ÿ˜‚) and one of the reasons I enjoy walking to work is because I get to have some time with My Jesus and this week as I did my daily walk to work, I found myself lost in wonder due to the fact that I can access Jesus in the most holy place any time and the fact that everytime I meet Him and anytime He meets me, I am the living sacrifice on the altar! Indulge ๐Ÿ˜Š Rom.12.1 - I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Heb.10.19 - Therefore, brethren, since...

In pursuit of God for God!

Image
Praise God!  It has been a while since I penned down a piece and today by the grace of God we get to indulge in a writing close to my heart, consistently in my mind and one I purpose to do and keep doing till my life is through.  So dig in! ๐Ÿ˜Š Like most Christians I have had days where I am pursuing God for God in an unusual manner and other times I feel like well, I could take a break for a day,  a week, or two and get back. At times, I find myself distracted by what we call issues of life and find myself derailed in my pursuit for God. There are times, I want to go hard after God but something always seems to come up and cause me again to fall back. Of course I get sad and say a thousand apologies to God, mumble a prayer amidst tears asking God to rekindle the desire for Him in me and most often, if not all times, it is my duty to ensure that the desire keeps going, never stopping.  Recently, I have been so overwhelmed having so much to do and at a point in prayer ...

TAKE PLEASURE MY LORD!

Image
Psalm 51:16-17 TPT For the source of Your pleasure is not in my performance or the sacrifices I might offer to You. The fountain of Your pleasure is found in the sacrifice of my shattered heart before You. You will not despise my tenderness as I humbly bow down at Your feet. Be ye aware of the posture your heart takes before the Lord! Be careful not to serve God and He doesn't delight in you. Beware of the idols you have enthroned in the place of God! Recently, I made a prayer and asked God, please, let me not portray physically before You what You do not see in my heart. I want to do every single thing, unto You, from the purity of my heart. Amen! Many people look so broken before the Lord via our natural sight, but when the Lord looks at them, He is in total dismay because their heart is nothing like what they show. We have come to a place where men have not embraced brokenness neither have they embraced desperation for God not understanding that, it is who they are in t...
