True Disciples: Remnants of God.

Matthew 7: 21'' Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me , you evildoers.

This is the verse the Holy Spirit laid in my spirit this morning and it has been ringing in my head all along. Let us talk about Judas Iscariot. He was amongst the twelve chosen disciples of Jesus and had the privilege to walk with Jesus and work with Him closely. He also had one of the most senior positions of being a treasurer of the twelve and unfortunately Luke calls him traitor. How could it be that someone who walked with the Lord almost in all His days on earth be a traitor and a thief?? Well, it is very possible especially in this generation we are living in. Judas, being the treasure, used to do sin and the fact that Jesus never asked him, he decided that it was the way to go otherwise if Jesus Himself thought it was sin He could have cautioned him, he ever knew that sometimes the silence of Jesus on a sin you continually do is already judgement upon your soul but the fact that Jesus allowed him to stay and dwell in the circle of the twelve what he was doing to him was right and okay. Judas had a weakness in him which the devil used for his destruction because he did not allow the Lord to take away this evil desire, his mere wisdom told him that the fact that he walked with Jesus, Jesus did not confront him directly and since he was close to Jesus then that was safe for him, he was so wrong. I guess he actually thought that if stealing was sin, then God would not have allowed him to serve together with him.

This is exactly how this generation Christians are living that the fact that Jesus always reveals himself to us, we still do miracles then our lives are fine and everything is okay in terms of our relationship with Jesus and interestingly we think we have even grown spiritually. We are actually losing it. This is a time people are living in the flesh, and desire to gratify the flesh and no longer delight in walking in the Spirit. We are living at a time when we do not confront sin but accept it and ignore the fact that we should and must walk in total holiness.

Yesterday Jesus was leading me to pray for myself and to pray that He raises a generation of people who are not ashamed of the gospel Romans 1: 16, a people who are going to fall on their knees and battle the enemy Ephesians 6:10. This generation is rotten and has compromised with sin, it no longer regards salvation as it ought to be, we want to walk in total carnality in our own wisdom and knowledge Proverbs3:5, this generation has despised that God is HE alone so we choose to worship money, friends, boy and girlfriends, churches are focused on numbers and materiality, the focus is on if church offers physical joy and minimal spiritual growth, it is in this era that people are called ''too spiritual'', thats why witschcraft crops up, divination is highly used in our churches at the highest order, ministers are looking for more powers from the ungodly spiritual areas. This are the last days in which we are living and if we are not careful enough the Lord will come for His church and many will be left out in the rapture.

It is time for the remnant in this era to wear the full armour of God and march on because we fight not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities. It is time we stop compromising with sin and the world and be transformed by the renewal of our minds, it is time we choose to lift up our lives to God in real and total surrender and fully allow Him to control our lives and choose to walk in His ways. It is not enough to own the Lord, profess the faith and accept Him as Lord and Savior, He also requires to be revealed in our speech, words and in our entire life. He looks not at the outward but the appearance of thy heart.

Myself, I choose to walk in His righteousness and His will my food, His strength mine, the voice that speaks through me, the life that lives in me, the air I breathe. He came to give us life in abudanceand so we should embrace this life in Him given through Him.

Lord, raise a people who are going to trust and seek you with all they are, a generation of believers not ashamed of the gospel, an army of remnants who will hate to be lukewarm and focus on thee only, a people who are going to be founded in your Word and Spirit-led, open our eyes Lord so that we see the truth in us, help us to be the salt and light of the world Lord help us not to loose taste and effectiveness neither shall we expire nor be destroyed, raise a people who will not compromise under any circumstance, we will not cower when others fall away Lord, raise true ministers who are going to proclaim salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus, raise up warriors Lord, call us to battle and we shall be ready. Release revival in the body of Christ. With all my heart I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

I AM A REMNANT OF THE LORD!!
